Open Call for 2023 Daejeon International Play Festival

   1. The Daejeon International Play Festival

       The Daejeon International Play Festival is a small-theater play festival held annually in Daejeon, S. Korea        from 2009 and features an excellent selection of shows from around the world. Each year, we have 4 to 5        overseas shows at the festival. We are accepting applications for performances for the 2023 festival. We          eagerly await your application.

   2. Overview

      1) Dates : 2023 September 10th(Sun) - September 24th(Sun)

   2) Location : Small theaters in Daejeon, S. Korea

      Seats in theater No. 1 : 100,  No. 2 : 80,  No. 3 : 60

   3. Itinerary

       Day 1 : Arrival S. Korea and travel to Daejeon

       Day 2 : Setup and rehearsals

       Day 3 : 1st show and interact with the audience

       Day 4 : 2nd show and strike

       Day 5 : Rest and tourist activities

       Day 6 : Departure.

   4. Qualifications

       1) 1 performance per 1 day for 2 days (More than 50 minutes) 

       2) Engage the audience after the first show

   3) Provide English script and advertising material

5. The Organizers will provide:

       1) 1 crew for scenery setup and lighting

       2) Maximum 5-6 member round trip airfare per team

         * May change depending on fluctuating airfare prices

       3) Domestic transportation in Korea(i.e. airport to Daejeon)

       4) Maximum 6 nights accommodation and meals

       5) Provide souvenirs

   6. Application Details

      1) Must submit application and video(at least 30 min)

      2) Application closes on Marth 4^th(Sat) 2023

      3) Results published on March 17^th(Fri) 2023
